Description:
CAE Inc. design, manufacture, and supply simulation equipment services; and develop integrated training solutions for the military, commercial airlines, business aircraft operators, aircraft manufacturers, healthcare education and service providers, and mining industry worldwide. The company’s Training and Services/Civil segment provides business, commercial, and helicopter aviation training services that include curriculum development, training centre operations, pilot training, cabin crew training, aircraft maintenance technician training, e-Learning and courseware solutions, and consulting and pilot sourcing services. This segment serves regional airlines, helicopter operators, and general and business aviation markets. CAE Inc.’s Simulation Products/Civil segment offers civil flight simulation training devices, instructor tools, and visual systems for regional commercial airlines, third-party training centers, and original equipment manufacturers, as well as provides various support services comprising simulator updates, maintenance services, sale of spare parts, and simulator relocations. The company’s Simulation Products/Military segment offers military training equipment and software tools for fast jets, helicopters, maritime patrol, and tanker/transport aircraft, as well as offers simulation-based solutions for land and naval forces; military helicopter simulators; and simulation products and training systems. CAE Inc.’s Training and Services/Military segment supplies turnkey training services, maintenance and support services, and in-service support solutions, as well as modeling and simulation-based professional and defense services. The company’s New Core Markets segment provides healthcare training devices, such as surgical, imaging, ultrasound, and human patient simulators, as well as learning applications/courseware and centre management systems; and mining services and tools. CAE Inc. was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
