TAL Education Group, together with its subsidiaries, provides K-12 after-school tutoring services in China. It offers tutoring services to K-12 students covering various academic subjects, including mathematics, English, Chinese, physics, chemistry, biology, history, political science, and geography. The company provides tutoring services through small classes; personalized premium services, such as one-on-one tutoring; and online course offerings. As of February 29, 2012, it operated a network of 270 learning centers and 247 service centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Xian, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Chongqing, Suzhou, and Zhengzhou; and 5 call centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. The company also operates eduu.com, an online education platform that serves as a gateway to its online courses and other Websites that offer topics, such as college entrance examinations, high school entrance examinations, preschool education, personalized premium services, study abroad, mathematics, English, Chinese composition, small-class training, preschool training under the Mobby brand, and raising infants and toddlers. In addition, it offers education and management consulting services, as well as sells software. TAL Education Group was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Beijing, the Peoples Republic of China.
